Grounds Maintenance Worker - (Tallahassee, FL)

Position details Responsible for the ongoing upkeep of certain airport parking property segments (in conjunction with airport operational personnel): 1. Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. 2. Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties. 3. Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower. 4. Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, fire ants, and others. 5. Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth. 6. Trim shrubs and pull weeds. 7. Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed. 8. Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer. 9. Use leaf blower to rid sections of leaves, acorns, loose debris, etc.
