Water Maintenance Position - (Athens, OH)

A local water utility is looking to fill a full time Water Maintenance Position Career opportunity for a self-motivated individual who can perform installation, operation, repair and maintenance on production, treatment and distribution facilities, including preventative and corrective maintenance to related equipment. Candidates should have knowledge of basic principles, methods, techniques, tools and equipment used in the installation, maintenance and repair of treatment, storage, and distribution systems; safety practices, safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work; firm understanding of water related mathematics; familiarity with Geographical Details Systems (GIS) and GPS systems for locating and recording field data; knowledge of tablet-type applications; codes, ordinances and regulations pertaining to the work. Preferred applicant will possess a Class A valid drivers license, Ohio EPA Water License, and have prior background with GPS and GIS within the ArcGIS platform.
