HVAC/R Specialist Advanced - (Menomonie, WI)

UW Stout is currently seeking a full time, HVAC/R Specialist Advancement in the Facilities Management Department. Duties include responding to service calls, equipment repair and assisting our controls tech. Qualification Min/Necessary experience working in the maintenance and repair of HVAC/Refrigeration equipment. Customer service background in working with a diverse community. Background using Microsoft office suite and the Internet. Good work habits, such as attendance, punctuality, accountability, thoroughness and resourcefulness. Desired/Preferred Background in working with digital and pneumatic control systems. Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout practices. Background in institutional or large multi-building commercial environments. Knowledge of asbestos hazards. Special Qualifications Possess or obtain a current EPA Refrigerant Handling, Reclamation and Recovery Certification within the probationary period. UW-Stout will assist with associated charges.
