Firefighters fight fires, perform rescue and emergency medical care, participates in fire prevention activities, provides paramedic care to residents and the community. Firefighters will also operate and maintain firefighting, EMS, and rescue equipment, as well as perform fire station and grounds maintenance, when not responding to calls. Performs other related duties, as assigned. Firefighters are assigned to a specific shift and report directly to their assigned Lieutenant or Captain.
