IP Paralegal - (Hammond, IN)

We are currently recruiting for an IP Paralegal for our client, a prestigious law firm located in the Loop. Critical skills/Background. A min of five to eight years of background. High-level of background with trademark clearance, registration and maintenance. Expertise to oversee prosecution and litigation. Must be proficient with relevant IP databases including USPTO web siteand Saegis for searching, CorSearch database, as well as background with vendors (e.g. Thomson Reuters). Expertise to complete electronic filings Background with Docketing (Computer Packages, Inc. software preferred). Familiarity with TTAB rules and procedures. Background with trademark docketing software including running searches and preparing portfolio reports. Background with international trademark apps Current knowledge of domain names and registration. Background with portfolio management including international trademark portfolios. Background with social media a plus.
