Diploma / GED with additional industrial training, College diploma and/or Trade Certification preferred Background: Min of (1-2) years supervisory background in a mining/manufacturing operation. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, heavy equipment and electrical principles. MSHA safety background.Job Purpose:Maintain safe operations, plan production schedules, manpower qualifications, and equipment qualifications in the Granule Department to ensure production of quality products timely to meet customer qualifications.Job duties:Ensure safety, quality, production and housekeeping standards are met at all times by all employees by providing appropriate supervision, training and evaluation of employees. Assist with maintenance or production as may be required.Ensure efficient operation of secondary crushing plant and mill to produce granules at the lowest cost.
