Nursing Supervisor / or-Perioperative Nurse Supervisor - (Bangor, ME)

Small community facility in Maine is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to help oversee the day to day operations of its Operating Room. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred, however, not required. A min of three years' OR background with OR management requirements required. BLS, ACLS, IV certification required. MOAB encouraged (training provided, if necessary). CNOR upon hire or eligible. Comply with all company, DNV, local, state, and federal regulations. Adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies. Assist in achieving stated patient and customer satisfaction goals, and mission initiatives of the organization. Participates and engages in team meetings, team building activities, and other opportunities to strengthen the OR department. Executes project-related tasks. Participates in the orientation of new teammates. Works conscientiously to minimize cost and time requirements in all areas of the OR. Acts as backup if necessary. Strong attention to detail, clear and effective communicator.
