Project Engineer --- Electric, Grinnell, IA: -- Responsible for performing engineering duties including researching, designing, developing or testing electronic components and systems as per customer engineering specifications.-- Review customer requests and product engineering specifications; assist vendors with engineering project qualifications; perform product cost estimation; use AutoCAD product design and tool design; analyze and optimize workflow of new products; monitor production schedules and orders and lead cross-functional teams to ensure program is successfully launched on time and within budget; design and build assembly fixture with electronics for mistake proofing assemblies; perform project progress report utilizing Ms office Project; prepare weekly and monthly report in regard to the project financial status; evaluate and eliminate waste to increase production efficiency; collaborate with and visit tools shops.
