About the Position Develop short-term production qualifications according to level design and inventory targerts to optimize manufacturing capabilities. Communicate impacts of production and/or demand changes. Ensure customer service requirments are met/exceeed through supply availability while limiting past dues and backorders. Monitors inventory levels & identifies excess & slow moving inventory & take appropriate action to assure inventory objectives are achieved. Super user to set rate & parameters for the manufacturing of products (systems configuration). Lead/contribute to cross functional/cross supply chain projects while training and mentoring less experienced planners on process and system technology. Coordinates deployment - factory to LC; or DFS & master data accuracy & assures they are continually optimized.
