Production Supervisor - 1st Shift - (Elma, NY)

POSITION DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, the Assembly & Test Supervisor is responsible for supervising the assembly and test operations and providing guidance to assemblers and technicians engaged in all phases of development of the Servo valve and other products. Employ 5S and Lean Manufacturing skills in every day work practices. REQUIREMENTS High-school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and background required. A Bachelor's or technical degree and three plus years of background desired. Must have one to three years of supervisory background. Must be able to read and understand production drawings (mechanical and electrical), prints, and SOPs. Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management.
