Vocational and Wellness Specialist - Adult Services Division - Brattleboro - (Brattleboro, VT)

Position Purpose: Vocational Specialists develop and coordinate supported employment positions in the community for individuals receiving services. They provide on-site and off-site support and training to individuals and the employers in order to improve job retention and assure satisfactory employment relationships. Vocational Specialists model appropriate attitudes and behaviors for individuals receiving services and foster a positive outlook with compassion and insight. The Vocational Specialist adheres to HCRS policy and complies with federal, state, and local regulations and supports program philosophy. Principal Responsibilities and Duties: Vocational Specialists provide an array of services to individuals, including, but not limited to, developing written employment plans with the individual receiving services which identify employment outcomes, activities, and job development strategies that support individuals as they move toward job placement.
