Senior Scientist I, Protein Analytical Characterization - (Worcester, MA)

The Global Protein Sciences (GPS) Group is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join its Analytical and Pharmacy Group in Worcester, MA. GPS works collaboratively internally and across drug discovery teams to advance the AbbVie Biologics pipeline. As an integral member of the group, the candidate will be responsible for working with scientists in both GPS and the therapeutic area (Immunology/Oncology/Neurology) in making significant contributions to innovate next generation biologics through interrogation of protein attributes on targets and therapeutic molecules. The candidate will be a highly motivated scientist with background in protein analytical characterization and protein modulation (conjugation) to discern protein critical quality attributes (physiochemical properties, post-translational modifications) and better understand protein structure-function.
