Research Scientist, Vector Construction & Gene Expression - (Minneapolis, MN)

Calyxt is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented scientist to join our R&D organization. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to work in a team environment and interact with experts in molecular biology, gene editing, plant transformation and product commercialization. As a Research Scientist at Calyxt, you will supervise a well-trained vector construction team, have responsibility for validation of vectors and gene editing components prior to initiating plant transformation, and perform downstream analysis of expression profiling for gene edited plants. This position holds a key role within the R&D & Innovation team and is responsible for expanding Calyxts toolbox of genetic elements for vector construction, and will actively participate in the discussion and implementation of new product concepts and the strategies to deliver on these concepts.
