Penetration Tester needs 5+ years of background conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments Penetration Tester requires: BS/MS in Computer Science (or relevant work background in large scale IT environment) one or more of the following certifications: C|EH, GWAPT, OSCP, CISSP (Must have) Strong scripting skills (e.g., shell script, python, JavaScript) Proficiency with common security tools (e.g, nmap, Metasploit, Burp, Kali) Penetration Tester duties: Perform penetration testing (Ethical Hacking) on a wide array of info systems, processes, technologies. specific niche type of testing that they may focus on (i.e. web applications, social engineering, network or server level testing). Create detailed reports out of the findings that were made during a test.
