Senior Tax Accountant - (Daytona Beach, FL)

NASCAR is searching for a talented professional to join our team in the position of Senior Tax Accountant. Based in our Daytona Beach office, the Senior Tax Accountant will assist the Director, Tax, in the handling of tax matters including tax return preparation, tax provisions and accounting and tax research. Assignments include, but are not limited to the following: Tax Return Preparation Calculate, prepare, and coordinate payment of: Federal and state extensions, estimated payments, and tax returns (all entities) Annual County Tangible Personal and Real Property Taxes City Business and Occupational Licenses Gross Receipts Taxes Tax Calendar Assist in maintaining tax calendar to ensure all compliance is timely filed Tax Provisions Prepare current and deferred tax expense on a quarterly basis Prepare forecast updates and return to provision true-up AJEs Tax Research Conduct ad hoc tax research and projects on various taxes, including income, franchise, property, sales & use, and withholding.
