Return Auditors examine tax returns, acquire additional info and prepare audit work papers and reports. Books & Records Auditors conduct audits of individuals and a variety of business entities independently and may assist higher level auditors in performing large, complex audits. Most audits are initiated and conducted at the taxpayers business location. Qualified applicants will have a four-year or advanced degree with a major in accounting or equivalent professional background.
