Electrical Maintenance Intern - Owatonna - (Owatonna, MN)

Position description:Function: This position will be part time during the school year and full time during the summer. Read blueprints or technical diagrams. Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices. Expertise to trouble shoot, repair and rebuild equipment without direct supervision. (Individual will also be expected to control inventory and enter in work being done on equipment with computerized maintenance program.) Essential Job requirements: Able to install, alter, and repair electrical wiring, apparatus, and equipment for light heat, and power with supervision. Performs duties in accordance with the Business Process Documentation. Participates in Viracon's Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements. Requirements:
