Temporary Reference Librarian - (Juneau, AK)

The Egan library, University of Alaska Southeast, is seeking a part time reference librarian to cover evening and weekend desk shifts. Research and reference assistance at Egan Library is provided to all members of the on-site and virtual UAS community in-person and via phone, email, and chat. Under the supervision of the Info Literacy Librarian, temporary reference librarians play an important role, maintaining full services during hours of operations. Professional training and development opportunities will be provided as needed. We are seeking individuals who have previously demonstrated their expertise to handle reference inquires, communicate effectively with library patrons, and work under min supervision.
