Software Engineer Controls Designer job in the Rockford area is available through Belcan. The applicant will develop software which fulfills the requirements of the project specifications using structured analysis and design techniques. With minimal supervision, design, code, test and document the software. Work with Supervision and the Project Engineer to formulate specifications and requirements for the software. Assignments include, but are not limited to: Develops new, complex designs to meet project specifications Demonstrated understanding of complex control system architectures and CNC motion control systems Language programming competency in C, C++, Relay Ladder Logic, and/or Visual Basic requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science is required 5 yrs background in a similar field Language background in Ladder, STL, AWL Siemens CNC 840D/Step 7 Plc and Fanuc 30i is huge plus SDL2017
