First Assistant-Criminal District Attorney - (Waco, TX)

Position SummaryDirects the day-to-day operations of the Criminal District Attorney's Office and provides executive leadership, management and coordination within a comprehensive and complex law office. Plans, develops and implements policies, procedures and programs to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Criminal District Attorney's Office. Oversees interdepartmental, intergovernmental and public/private coordination concerning operations and activities. Works closely with elected officials and policy-making bodies and provides management support, legal counsel and advice to attorneys, investigators, and support personnel. Reports directly to the Elected District Attorney and functions as the 2nd highest level of management within the office. Has broad scope of operational and staff responsibility and directs activities through subordinate division directors.
