General Manager, Manufacturing Engineering - (Vonore, TN)

Randstad is seeking applicants for the position of Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Vonore area company. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. Annual salary will range $90k-$110k. This position will be a day shift opportunity but will require availability for on call purposes on evenings and weekends as needed. Responsibilities: - Specify requirements, coordinate the ordering and verify performance of new production equipment - Min 5yrs managerial background in a manufacturing environment - Assist Maintenance as required on critical items or training initiatives - Provide required documentation, training, start-up support to ensure successful launches/ramp-up and ongoing operation of internal production processes. - Coordinate manufacturing engineering support of key production initiatives such as reduction of scrap, downtime, tooling costs or consumable cost - Manage manufacturing engineering function ensuring adequate support of production and development of engineering resources
