OverviewIn addition to your everyday classroom duties, you may from time to time be required to manage the overall operation of the kitchen.-- This includes but is not limited to the following:-- to ensure children receive nutritious meals meeting their daily qualifications and be able to plan meals within a budget.The Lead Teacher is to oversee the general welfare, health and safety of all the children in the classroom.Reports To:-- Program Center DirectorHour Qualifications:-- 35-40 hours per weekResponsibilitiesEssential Classroom Functions include but are not limited to:--StaffArrange for substitute teachers in the event of an absenceAttend monthly staff meetingsAssist in training assistant teachers, as instructed by Program Center DirectorAssist teachers in the classroom whenever necessaryTreat all staff members professionally and fairlyTo professionally discuss the developmental progress of each child with other staff membersTo assist in making "Sunshine Calls" when neededTo assist in responsibilities
