Hospice Volunteer Coordinator / Experience Required / FT - (Independence, MO)

Our Mission… Serving People With Compassion and Dignity The Hospice Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the development and administration of all aspects of our volunteer services in the Independence area including recruiting, interviewing, training, assigning and supporting volunteers. * Hospice background preferred, or min of 2 years background in recruiting, training and supervising volunteers required. Applicants not meeting position responsibilities will not be considered. Qualities We Seek in a Strong Applicant Positive, fun, energetic personality. Background with speaking to groups and expertise to approach a wide varety of sources for volunteer recruitment. Creative approach to implementing new ideas and issue solving. Loves working with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences, and will take ownership of making sure volunteers are comfortable in their roles and appreciated for their time and contributions.
