Youth Coordinator - (Largo, FL)

This position is responsible for outreach efforts including training, mentoring and engaging youth with SED in service design and delivery, policy development and system evaluation. The Youth Coordinator will work with case managers, school social workers, DJJ, child welfare, family/caregivers and other agency staff to enhance the quality of life for children and youth (10-16). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as a role model and mentor children and youth in the system of care by sharing lived experiences with mental illness and/or substance use to provide hope for children, and youth. Advocate for SED youth by increasing training and workshop opportunities for families. Participate in SOC community development group to assess community needs and promote a comprehensive community-wide service delivery system.
