The Animal Hospital of Wilkes is a full-service veterinary hospital serving the Wilkesboro community since 1958. Our 7 doctors see dogs and cats 6 days a week, ensuring their health and well-being. If you are passionate about learning and helping others and enjoy working with animals, we have an opportunity to join our team. The Animal Hospital of Wilkes seeks a full time Veterinary Assistant. This is a full time position working 35-40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30am and 6pm weekdays and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays. The veterinary assistant has a rotating schedule and is responsible for assisting our veterinarians and veterinary technicians, patient care and restraint, and cleaning.
