Assistant Inventory Analyst - (Scranton, PA)

Position details: Entry level position in a inventory management field. This person will be responsible for the day to day tasks of managing inventory levels, creating new items in an AS400 system, and assisting the accounting team ensuring accuracy of our inventory value. This person will be expected to work with other key departments including but not limited to Product development, purchasing, and student care to ensure our students success and our companies on going integrity. Essential Job Functions: Prepare Daily Backorder Reports Item master creation Bill of Material Creation Assist with Month end close procedures Backup essential purchasing functions as required Perform other Inventory related tasks as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Education and Background: Bachelors in Business or comparable job background in Inventory Management Microsoft office suite Effective communication abilities Strong management skills Self motivator, expertise to work unaided
