Job details Job Summary Servicing & meeting the needs of string teachers in the surrounding districts General Accountabilities Communicates with string teachers by email and/or phone Schedules school trips every two weeks & drives work van to the schools during the school year Sets soundposts & fixes minor endpin issues Provides instrument repair estimates Correlates with the repair shop to get estimates and due dates on school repairs and utilitzes the Google calendar to track them Tracks multiple work orders, approved instrument proposals, and pickups/delivers instruments Organizes and sends paperwork to schools/districts: estimates, proposals, invoices, work orders, and special orders; 30-day statements for unpaid invoices Communicates with the music librarian on music orders and newly released music for teachers Expertise to converse easily with all teachers and develop relationships with new teachers & student teachers Provides teachers with recruitment and retention suggestions while educating them
