Medical Legal Billing Specialist/Paralegal - (Brandon, FL)

Position summary Looking for an upbeat, fun, rewarding medical workplace background? MRI Associates is looking for applicants for our Central Billing Office office located in Brandon Florida. Background as a paralegal a plus, but not a job requirement. Job assignments: Answer all incoming calls. Review patient accounts to ensure proper payment by the automobile or liability claim. Provide representing attorneys, ledgers upon request of the patients account as it pertains to the auto or liability case. Negotiate with the attorney as requested to settle the case, following MRI Associates established guidelines. If unable to negotiate, refer to management for assistance. Meet with and provide representing PIP Attorneys accounts as applicable to file suit on behalf of MRI Associates. Review attorney payments prior to deposit to ensure payment is make according to agreements, follow up with Attorney if not.
