Position details Topographic Land Surveyors, Lafayette, CO is seeking experienced Survey Crews Party Chiefs and Instrument Techs for immediate full-time positions for areas in and around the Lafayette, CO area. 3 or more years experience as survey party chief in surveying pipelines/well locations and boundary work for energy industries, oil , gas and power lines. Civil surveying A. The Party Chief will be in charge of crew utilizing total stations, data collectors, and GPS. Accurate detailed notes and drawings are required. Expertise to communicate effectively with internal support-drafters and survey techs. Instrument Techs/Iman carries out instructions and tasks assigned by Party Chief. You will carry instruments, field equipment, hammers, stakes, etc. You must have the expertise to cut and clear brush/trees with a machete/saws to clear lines of sight.
