Horticulture Technician - (San Jose, CA)

Job summary Summary: The Horticultural Technician is responsible for the maintenance of sustainable landscape programs at high-touch client sites. Duties will include routine and non-routine soil probing to analyze moisture levels, soil texture, and active root growth, record keeping supporting active new growth, and analyze pest populations, and diseases. Occasional soil sampling to determine soil and plant health. Seasonal structural pruning, while being able to assist in tree fertilization and hydration. Current expertise of pest and disease life cycles, pest/disease identification and determine preventative, proactive measures to encourage healthy and vigorous growth; while suppressing pests and diseases.
