Position description Job Summary Block Institute of Brooklyn, New York is a non-profit, non-sectarian agency dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families. Block institute has extensive background providing individualized services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Full-time Behavior Intervention Specialist for the Article sixteen Clinic. Block Institute’s Article sixteen Clinic is devoted to facilitating habilitative growth of individuals who are cognitively, physically, emotionally, and/or developmentally impaired. Our professional service team executes a whole person approach, providing consideration of all facts in a person’s life, developing specialized treatment planning based on individual needs. Following a comprehensive evaluation of diagnosis impacting skills and abilities, we offer a full range of clinical services.
