Requisition Number 18-0265 Post Date 12/3/2018 Title Recovery Support Specialist City tulsa Description Under immediate to general supervision, provide peer support services and serve as an advocate to consumers in emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings to assist consumers in regaining control of their lives and recovery processes. Greet and formally welcome consumers arriving for intake process. Teach and mentor the value of every individual consumer s recovery background. Model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies to consumers. Assist consumers in articulating their personal goals for recovery, determining the objectives needed to obtain their recovery goals, and obtaining services that suit their recovery needs. Collaborate with other care teammates to identify program and service environments that are conducive to consumers recovery and to ensure consumers are referred and linked to needed external medical and non-medical resources.
