Warehouse Assistant - (Waynesville, NC)

POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Assistant IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Warehouse Manager SUPERVISES: N/A EMPLOYEE STATUS: Non-Exempt, hourly PURPOSE: To fulfill delivery qualifications of product in accordance with customer requests and assist in the daily warehouse operations. AREA OF PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITY: This position is within the scope of all HVO deliveries including responsibility throughout the shipping/receiving area of HVO. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Receive raw materials and generate appropriate documents Perform inventory cycle counts as required Execute accurate inventory movements of all products Fulfill material requests of internal customers Generate written reports as required Ship finished goods as required Operate company vehicles Practice good documentation practices (GDP) Perform non-routine tasks as requested by immediate supervisor GENERAL DUTIES: Demonstrate knowledge of, and maintain, HVO safety rules and regulations
