Staff Writer - (Edgefield, SC)

POSITION DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for creating content for all NWTF platforms to spread the NWTF's message as well as working with other individuals and departments within the NWTF to develop content that highlights our mission. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS Primary purpose is to generate and edit content for all NWTF media platforms including: Magazines Tv/Radio Press releases Promotional materials (brochures, fliers, etc.) Website Social media E-newsletter Eblasts Must have strong writing and editing abilities and desire to consistently create a wide array of written materials on deadline(s) Edit content for consistency and accuracy by recognizing discrepancies in language, layout or formatting Follow the standards, procedures and methodologies for content creation, organization and distribution Work with staff from all parts of NWTF business, including volunteers and partners, to interview, research and create compelling ways to tell the NWTF story
