Job Description CAM Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team of experienced professionals, at our headquarters in Timonium, MD. JOB DESCRIPTION The principal role of this position is to process payroll (weekly), to post, originate, and distribute payment for all Accounts Payable (A/P) entities. Additionally, this position ensures proper internal approval for payment, bank reconciliations, and provides assistance to site controller. Specific Duties & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Manual provided for all duties) PAYROLL Compiles payroll data such as hours worked to include insurance/benefits utilizing employee identification number through time sheets and other records Reviews wages computed to ensure accuracy of payroll and scale wages Monitors exemptions and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records Prepares certified payroll for organization; audits and corrects subcontractor certified payroll reports
