COMPANY OVERVIEW Diatherix is an innovative, CLIA certified, molecular diagnostic laboratory utilizing proprietary TEM-PCR (Target Enriched Multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction) technology for precise detection of infectious diseases linking diagnostics to therapeutics. Position: Billing Assistant II Requirements: Degree in medical billing (or its equivalent) or 1-three years medical insurance billing background. Customer service and knowledge or background with ICD codes preferred. Reports to: Billing Director General Description: The Billing Assistant II will utilize the Xifin billing software to complete various steps of the billing process, to include error processing. Specific Job Functions May Include: Facilitate resolution of system-identified errors, such as missing insurance data, front-end denials, patient demographics, etc. Facilitate resolution of missing Dates of Collection on testing requisitions, to include updating the clinical LIS system Key testing requisitions
