Instructional Designer - (Buffalo, NY)

TITLE Instructional Designer REPORTS TO Director of Instructional Design in the Office of Info Technology with a strong dotted line to Academic Affairs (two Divisional Deans and the Faculty Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning) RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with faculty members in the development or conversion of courses for on-line and hybrid learning modalities including the selection of appropriate technological, instructional and assessment strategies while meeting the objectives of the course and honoring the academic goals of the institution. Support faculty as needed in the use of instructional technology in developing on-line courses. Manage and track the course development process. Provide timely formative feedback and assistance to faculty for the enhancement of hybrid and on-line courses. Conduct reviews of proposed and existing on-line courses in accordance with the Quality Matters (QM) Higher Ed Rubric.
