Part-time Student Drafter - (Gurnee, IL)

WesTech Engineering Inc. has an immediate need for a Part time (up to fifteen hours per week) Student Drafter position at our Gurnee, Illinois location. This role is responsible to participate in and oversee automated drafting activities in such specialized areas as engineering, electrical, or architecture for the purpose of laying out and preparing structural, mechanical & engineering drawings for new or existing water, wastewater & industrial equipment, and systems. We are looking for someone to work 2-3 hours a day five days a week or similar hours. This is the beginning/student designer level. The employee works in a learning capacity performing a range of detailing & designing assignments while receiving close supervision. Essential Job Functions Draws structural, mechanical and engineering information of equipment, structures, and more using AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks &/or Creo (PRO-E). Information geometrics, utilities and structures, and computes necessary dimensions.
