Design Technology Manager - (Riverhead, NY)

Job summary Island is seeking a Design Technology Manager to join our Calverton design engineering group. The perfect applicant would have a combination of strong experience in strategic BIM management, custom façade design for fabrication, and team management. Applicants with a strong work ethic who are inventive, self-motivated, highly organized, personable, and can communicate clearly are encouraged to apply. The preferred applicant has the following requirements: · Previous leadership in the development and implementation of BIM practices for fabrication info. · Expertise to recruit, mentor, and manage a team to produce shop and fabrication drawings. · Application of BIM knowledge to maximize efficiencies in workflow and communication among and between teams: from drawing production to fabrication production. · Expert knowledge of Revit. · Proficiency in Autocad, Autodesk 360, Rhino, Inventor, Ms excel, and/or Logikal is also preferred.
