Foster Care TIPS-MAPP Trainer (Contract) - (Charlotte, NC)

Crossnore School & Children's Home seeks a contract Foster Care TIPS-MAPP Trainer to r ecruit, organize and provide pre-service training for foster care and adoptive parent participants; assist in the on-going development of the Foster Care and Adoptions programs at Crossnore School & Children's Home by providing training for foster and adoptive candidates. This is a contract position that will train foster parents in western North Carolina on weekends and/or evenings. Specific dates and times are negotiable and will be determined as part of the contract. The Trainer reports to the Assistant Director of Foster Care. Requirements: 1. Meets the requirements for a Qualified Professional which are: Bachelors degree in a human services or related position from an accredited college or university and a min of 2 years supervised clinical background working with children and families. 2. Previous training background needed.
