Job overview This is a one year contract starting on February first with a leading employer in the Richmond, VA area. Requirements: The expectation is Designer will have a good current knowledge of computers and software such as Ms office, Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, and Outlook Email. Will provide specialized Designer training and instruction including training in WMIS and ArcFM. Designers are expected to have a reasonable aptitude for learning in these areas. Designer will be expected to have general electric utility knowledge and above average expertise and prior training as required to perform the work as described herein. The min required knowledge, skills, abilities, and background for a designer must include the following: - 4yrs related work background: Current knowledge of electric distribution design and construction, estimating and NESC codes.
