Security Guard - 2nd Shift - (Columbus, OH)

Job Description This position is for 2nd shift working 3:15 pm to 11:30 pm Monday through Friday. There may be overtime involved during the holiday season and peak times. JOB DESCRIPTION The Security Guard protects the industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Manages process for inbound truck driver check-in so that drivers are routed in an orderly fashion. Works with shift supervisors to ensure procedures for associate check in and check out are followed. POSITION DETAILS Periodically patrols buildings and grounds of industrial plant, docks, and work site, while examining doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure Warns violators of rule infractions based on company policies and assists shift supervisors as needed to address issues with associates Views closed circuit camera monitor, watching for irregular behavior
