Security Officer - Full-Time - Crisis Stabilization Unit - (Macon, GA)

River Edge is seeking a full time security officer to provide a safe and friendly environment with our Crisis Stabilization Unit. Duties & Responsibilities: Under general supervision, patrols assigned areas and ensures safety of building and grounds for a residential facility that provides treatment for behavioral health clients in crisis for adults and children. Works to support clinical staff on the unit and performs routine perimeter checks. Requires completion of yearly continuing-ed mandates. Min Training & Background: High-school diploma or GED. Current drivers license. Required Competencies: - - Expertise to work well with others - Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities - Available 6pm-6am. Or 6a-6p/6pm-6am PRN. Preferred Requirements: Min of one year background in providing security services in a health care setting. Previous experience in a behavioral health environment a plus.
