Project Engineer - (Jonesboro, AR)

Position description Job Description The Project Engineer works form the home office and provides support for superintendents in the field. They report directly to the Director of Preconstruction. The role of Project Engineer can be divided into four phases: Project Bidding, Project Awarded, Active Project, and Project Closeout. RE-CONSTRUCTION (Projects Bidding Phase) Review blueprints and gather knowledge about the job - perform material takeoffs Reach out to subcontractors and trades to obtain bids Review bids for accuracy and pricing Download and review bid documents Upload addendums to plan swift and plan room. Send to subcontractors and trades PRE-CONSTRUCTION (Project Awarded) Meet with Director to review subcontractors and scopes of work Review start and end dates of projects in Building Portal and update office if they’ve changed. Create subcontractors' scopes of work and send to Director for review. Order all owner supplied material using the pulse system. Order all material not supplied by owner.
