Construction Project Engineer - (Fort Pierce, FL)

Position overview Project Engineer Responsibilities Project engineering work in connection with largescale construction projects and reports to the Project Manager. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: ? Perform field engineering, operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, contract administration, estimating and supervision of field activities. ? Maintain records as required regarding job progress, costs, material usage, etc. ? Investigate problems and/or reported incidents; identify and recommend solutions/alternatives as appropriate; ? Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements (quantities and qualities), pricing of materials, etc.; ? Work with suppliers as required facilitating the handling and expediting delivery of materials; ? Participates in project planning, scheduling, and two week look ahead; ? Assists with development and updating of the project budget, scheduling and job costing
