Forklift Mechanic - (Visalia, CA)

Position details Forklift and Mobile Equipment Mechanic : Work Schedule: eight hour shift five day work week (available for any shift and weekends) Mobile equipment: Forklifts, scissor lifts, Aerial lifts, Tractors, Cars, Trucks, Lifts, Trailers, and others MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs maintenance and repair on Mobile equipment, battery station and Batteries as required. Troubleshoots malfunctions in the equipment and repair. Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, and clutches; changes filters and oil, and lubricates equipment. Performs Electrical repairs such as repair and replaces fuses, batteries, lights, instruments, warning devices, controls and switches, alternators, starters, and defective cables and wiring. This will include twelve and 24-volt systems. Performs Hydraulic repairs or replaces pumps, hoses, valves, winches and cylinders. Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on equipment.
