Production Engineer - (Chattanooga, TN)

Job overview This position will provide leadership with a technical and engineering focus to support the manufacturing operation through the collection and analysis of production performance data. This position will consult with stakeholders on process deviations and trends and will lead the effort to deliver results focused on operational efficiencies and continuous improvement. This position will also be responsible for planning and executing on base capital projects that are identified through continuous improvement efforts. Principal Accountabilities 50% Responsible for leading plant daily continuous improvement activities. Uses SAP and other tools to gather plant performance info. Reviews, analyzes, and acts on trends and excursions identified in the plant performance data. Develops or implements new tools to increase tracking and monitoring efficiencies. Works closely with production management and hourly operators to execute on improvement opportunities identified.
