Millwork Designer/ CAD Drafter - (Waukesha, WI)

Job overview Requirements: • Highly motivated and self-driven • Productive in team environments • Good work ethic • Effective communication abilities • Proficient in: AutoCAD and SketchUp pro • Background with Cabinet Vision, VCarve, Mozaik and Vectric software in layout and design • Must have cabinetry and general construction knowledge • Microsoft office suite: Ms word, Ms excel, Outlook • Expertise to quickly learn new systems and software • Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings and project specifications • Fabrication and installation background a plus • Knowledge of AWI Quality and Design Standards a plus Responsibilities: • Produce submittals and detailed shop drawings using CAD software • Designing to meet the desire budget by asking appropriate questions • Job costing and material ordering • Spec and order hardware for job production (slides, hinges, pulls, etc.) • Organizing and working with several jobs at the same time.
