Painter - (Columbia, SC)

Position details Owen Steel Company Inc. is currently recruiting for a Painter. Painter is responsible for cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting fabricated steel products. Should have knowledge of lead, zinc and epoxy paints and appropriate thinners to be used with the paints in both 1 and two or more coat paint systems. Have expertise to set up equipment for spraying, including setting correct pressure and selecting proper spray tip according to the type of paint being used. Must also possess good coordination, dexterity and spraying technique.
