Construction Estimator - (Alvarado, TX)

Position details Experience & Knowledge: Applicants must have ten – fifteen years of federal/commercial construction cost estimating experience and the expertise to perform conceptual estimates. Must be proficient with RS Means estimating software and methodologies and experience estimating projects on a range from $3M – $25M involving federal facilities, schools, and commercial projects. Applicants must have expertise to perform quantity take-offs from construction documents including plans and specifications, progress drawings, conceptual sketches, change order revisions, addenda and design narratives. The successful applicant will work together with the Senior Pre-construction Managers to obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing details from databases, contractors, suppliers, etc. to utilize in estimates. And will also review estimate takeoff info for specific disciplines in order to assess accuracy and suitability for project type and specific project qualifications.
